MultiCam’s 2000 Series Laser machine is a versatile platform for full sheet cutting. The machine is available with 200 or 400 WATT lasers, with 1270 up to 2032 mm widths and 6096 mm maximun lengths. The 2000 Series flying optic system is fully collimated for uniform beam quality in the near and far field. The 2000 Series machine can raster engrave as well as cut out various materials. The welded, stress relieved all-steel frame insures rigidity and structural integrity under the most demanding conditions. Percision digital AC brushless servo drives and helical rack and pinion allow for smooth and accurate high speed cutting.

No machine offers more standard features than the MultiCam.

• Welded steel frame construction insuring rigidity and structural integrity.
• The gantry is made from a custom FEA (finite element analysis) engineered aluminum extrusion.
• A gantry clearance of 1.1875” (30mm) is standard.
• Lasers with power ranges are 400 watts and 200 watts (water cooled) available.
• The MultiCam 2000 Series Laser system comes standard with a high end ying optics system with 2.5” (63.5mm) and 5” (127mm) available optical focal lengths (5” is included standard).
• Included in the system is a red laser diode pointer to aid in the setup of the optics and for material alignment. A beam collimator is used to insure a consistent beam diameter thru the full range of motion. With the capacitive height sensing option, the Z-axis will react to material height changes on the fly while cutting. This system will work with conductive materials only.
  

MultiCam Controller

• Handheld keypad interface allows operator to set job parameters, jog the machine, perform system tests and download jobs from a remote computer system
• Standard shape library with automatic array.
• Ethernet and serial communications interface are available to the host computer system
• Productivity Software Suite is included
• Bar-code scanning interface and 2D and 3D digitizing are available options

Material Library Computer Interface

Now available with the system is material library editing. This computer interface will allow the operator to:

• Add
• Edit
• Upload
• And download material attributes.

The hand held keypad allows for parameter changes to be stored into the library. Each time the database is accessed by the computer, the new values are used and stored into the computer for future reference. Up to ten archives are kept in the computer for rollback purposes as well as the factory defaults for recovery.

The database will hold:

• 12 material types,
• 12 thicknesses of each material
